Our commitment to Child Safety

At Melbourne Swimming Academy, we're committed to ensuring that children and young people who participate in our programs and activities have a safe and enjoyable experience.

We support and respect all children and young people, as well as our staff and volunteers, and are committed to cultivating an inclusive culture where diversity is welcomed, every individual feels valued and empowered, and different perspectives are shared and heard respectfully.

We have a zero-tolerance for racism, child abuse, and inequality, and are committed to ensuring the cultural safety of all participants, including Aboriginal children and their families, by creating and promoting an environment where people feel safe and secure in their identity, culture, and community.

Child Safety Complaints

We recognise the importance of having an accessible, transparent, and effective process for handling complaints concerning child safety. Whether you are a child, parent, staff member, or a member of our wider community, we encourage you to come forward if you have concerns or have witnessed behaviours that compromise the safety and wellbeing of children in our care. Our complaints process ensures that all concerns are handled promptly, confidentially, and with the utmost sensitivity.
